Congressman showing black flag to Shah arrested
Earlier, in an attempt to show black flags to the Shah, the police arrested 24 youth Congress workers. All these were placards against the CAA and NRC. It is alleged that these people were intent on demonstrating despite not having permission. People from the Sikh community who came from Pakistan in 1947 at Garrison Maidan, the venue of the meeting, welcomed Amit Shah.
CAA notification released two days ago
The CAA notification has been released in the country on Friday. The BJP has launched a Jan Jagran campaign across the country in support of this law. Here, the Kamal Nath government of Madhya Pradesh has made it clear that it will not implement this law in the state.
